What you'll experience
Active discovery
This is a suggestion for those who like to discover places actively and want to see more than just the most popular attractions.
The green part of Penang
We'll set off on a cycling expedition through Balik Pulau - the peaceful, green part of Penang, where life has flowed at its own rhythm for decades. Along the way we'll pass traditional Malaysian villages, rice fields, tropical fruit plantations and mangrove forests.
A calm, flat 40 km
The route is about 40 kilometres long and almost entirely flat, so it also works for people who don't ride regularly. We go at an easy pace, stopping for photos, rest and tastings.

How long is the route and are there any climbs?
The route is about 40 kilometres long and almost entirely flat. There are no demanding climbs or technical sections. Most participants describe it as pleasant and relaxing.
What bikes are used?
We use modern, well-maintained trekking and city bikes, perfectly suited to the character of the route. A helmet is also included in the tour price.
